The firebrand politician of Maharashtra, Raj Thackeray, in his Gudi Padwa rally launched a scathing attack on BJP and PM Narendra Modi. Since which Maharashtra Navnirman Sena (MNS) President Raj Thackeray is in demand in the Congress, NCP camp.
According to DNA, many Congress and the NCP leaders are requesting Raj Thackeray to hold his rally in their respective constituencies. In Gudi Padwa rally, Raj Thackeray in a stinging attack alleged that Prime Minister Narendra Modi is known as a “Feku” the world over for his penchant of resorting to lies. Thackeray during his speech, which was raked up with punches, powerpoint presentation using videos and newspaper clippings to expose and debunk the incumbent government’s claims, due which the firebrand politician has attracted the attention of Congress, NCP leaders.
Leaders who are not getting dates to organise Raj Thackeray’s rallies are planning to erect a mega LED screen at the market place and crowded areas so that they can telecast his live speeches. Atul Nemade, MNS leader from Jalgaon told the leading daily, “They approached us and wanted one joint mega rally of Congress and the NCP which Thackeray will address. If this doesn’t work out then we will erect LEDs so that people can watch Raj Saheb speeches and understand the current political reality.”
Raj Thackeray contended that the “nation is facing a crisis” of Modi and Shah, and vowed to work and ensure the crisis can be overcome, for which he will address around 8-10 rallies in the coming weeks, averaging to two for each of the four-phased elections in Maharashtra.
