Mumbai:At a public meeting at Dharavi, former Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan and Congress MLA from the Dharavi Assembly constituency Varsha Eknath Gaikwad were present to support Congress candidate for Mumbai South Central Eknath Gaikwad.

Former Maharashtra Chief Minister Prithviraj Chavan said, “I have good news for the people of Dharavi that Narendra Modi is going. In 2014, we have made several mistakes, but now we are enough prepared to win this election. Launching a scathing attack on Modi, Chavan said, “If BJP wins and Modi becomes the Prime minister again, our constitution will be in danger.”

Mumbai South Central Congress candidate Eknath Gaikwad said, “The love and affection that Dharavi has given me, I am moving forward with it. Rajiv Gandhi had visited Dharavi and shown us the path of development. Recently, Rahul Gandhi has visited Dharavi and promised that if Congress comes to power, we will give 500 square feet home to everyone.
