Mumbai: The Bharatiya Janata Party is planning its own version of ‘Ae Lav Re To Video’ on Maharashtra Navnirman Sena chief Raj Thackeray on the last day of campaigning on April 27.
Vinod Tawde, the state education minister, said on Wednesday that the BJP would conduct a fitting expose on the MNS chief and expose the falsehood of his claims, so far. The revelation would be timed just before the campaigning ends and a day after Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s rally at the Bandra-Kurla Complex on April 26.
Tawde said the expose would touch on how the MNS chief got maximum TRP ratings in Pakistan after his controversial remarks after the Balakot surgical strike. “The expose will counter the claims made by Raj regarding the digital village Harisal, the ‘Laxmi darshan’ of MNS office-bearers in Aurangabad, accepting cash from the Congress Lok Sabha candidate,” he claimed.

Replying to his plea to the Election Commission of India (ECI) over the MNS chief’s election rallies when the MNS has not fielded any candidate in the ongoing LS polls, he said that the ECI has informed him that the matter has been referred to ECI headquarters in New Delhi.
Commenting on the criticism of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and the Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar about the Electronic Voting Machines and their demand for counting 50 per cent of VVPATs (Voter-Verifiable Paper Audit Trails), he remarked the opposition was already trying to find excuses for their impending defeat.
