Lok Sabha elections 2019 – 2nd Phase: Father of 48 children cast vote in Maharashtra’s Amravati

Mumbai: A father of 48 children cast his vote along with his major children in Achalpur of Amravati district on Thursday. Shankarbaba Papalkar runs a hostel for orphanage children at Vajhjhar in Achalpur tehsil. There are 48 children stays in hia hostel.

Some of them are 10 blind, 10 physical challenged and some of them 15 special children. He is taking care of them since past 15 to 20 years. Appreciable thing is he has given his name as father of these children as nobody knows real parents of these children.

He had pick some new born baby from garbage whereas some of babies were found at railway station and bus stops. Shankarbaba had helped them by giving them employment and helped them to marry. On Thursday, Shankarbaba enjoyed his right to vote alongwith some of the children.
