Mumbai: Stabbed to death over Rs 2 change

Mumbai: On Tuesday, a 26 year-old paid for his life over a scuffle between a passenger and an autorickshaw over a two rupee change. Chetan Ganpat Achirnekar , the victim was stabbed to death during the scuffle.

According to the Vikhroli police, a tiff took place between the auto-rickshaw driver and Achirnekar since the victim did not have rupees two change.

The accused turned violent, verbally abused the victim and murdered him. The victim was rushed to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival. The Vikhroli police has registered an Accidental Death Report ( ADR) in this case.
