Lok Sabha elections 2019: BJP launches manifesto, promises to spend Rs 25 lakh crore on rural development

The Lok Sabha elections are just around the corner, with the first phase of polling three days away, the Bharatiya Janata Party will release its manifesto for Lok Sabha elections 2019 today. The BJP will release its manifesto for the Lok Sabha polls scheduled to start from April 11 on Monday, with issues of development and national security set to be its key highlights.

The party yesterday launched a tagline and theme song ‘Phir Ek Baar Modi Sarkar Banate Hai, Phir Se Kamal Khilate Hai’. The manifesto will be launched by top BJP leaders, including Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah. The manifesto has been described by the party as its “Sankalp Patra”.
