Gareth Bale happy after contract extension with Madrid

Madrid : Forward Gareth Bale expressed his enthusiasm over extending his contract with Spanish club Real Madrid till 2022 and said the renewal is another dream that came true. The Welsh international on Monday interacted with the media in a press conference on the renewal at the Santiago Bernabeu, Efe news reported.

“I extended my contract because I feel very happy,” Bale said, according to Real Madrid’s official website.

“When I arrived I wanted to be successful and win titles. It’s another dream come true and I hope there are more titles and trophies,” he explained. Bale indicated that Real Madrid is the world’s best club and he grew up watching the Premier League and Real Madrid.

He pointed out that when “you have the opportunity to play here you cannot waste it”. “I will always fight for this club. I have enjoyed every experience, the fans love me and I will try to win all the titles that I can,” Bale added. Real Madrid previously announced that the Welshman is linked to the Spanish club until June 30, 2016.
