Mumbai : Amir Sayyed’s double strikers were the feature of Carmelites SC’s 3-1 win against a fighting Somlands SC in a Premier Division fourth round encounter of the 15th Bandra West Football league, sponsored by Baba Siddique & Zeeshan Siddique and conducted by the BWFA (Bandra West Football Association) and played at the Dr. Norman Lewis Supari Talao, Municipal grounds.

After Masood Munshi scored an early goal to give Somlands a first half lead, Camelites made a strong second half reply, with Amir scoring two quick goals to put his team in the lead (2-1). Amir’s teammate Smit Devkar netted the third goal in the final moments of the match to seal the win and the full three points for Carmelites.

In other one-sided matches, Celtic 7070 blanked Sea View SC 8-0 and Millwall FC outplayed Young XI 7-0.

Menwhile, AK Chimbai scored once in each half through Rohan Kadam and Titus Uttankar to overcome Chimbai SC 2-0 in another match of the same division.

Millwall FC 7 (Kyle Pereira 2, Keenan Burroughs 2, Sumit Raveendran, Scott Tellis, Kenyon Affonso) beat Young XI 0.
