Youth ends life by hanging self

Indore : A 21-year-old youth committed suicide by hanging himself from the ceiling at his residence in MIG area on Friday. The reason for taking the extreme step s not yet established. According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Ritesh Gogariya of Chhoti Khajrani.

On Friday night, he was found hanging in his room by his family members and was taken to the hospital but it was too late. One of his relatives said that Ritesh was under depression over some issue for a few days. The police are taking the statements of his family to know the reason of his suicide.

Mystery shrouds man’s death

 A 45-year-old man died under mysterious circumstances in Banganga area on Friday night. Police have registered a case and started an investigation. The police said that one Santosh of Banganga had gone to one of his relative’s house on Friday night where he fell unconscious. The relatives took him to a hospital immediately where he died during treatment. The reason of his death could not be known yet. The police are waiting for his postmortem report.

Trader booked for cheating

Sarafa police booked a trader for cheating a shop owner by manipulating his rent agreement on Friday. Jitendra Joshi of Sudama Nagar lodged a complaint that he rented his shop located near Rajwada to one Dinesh Sharma of South Gadrakhedi in 2010. During that time, it was decided that Dinesh will pay Rs 35000 pm as rent for the shop. JItendra came to know a few days ago that Dinesh somehow manipulated the agreement and showed that he had given Rs 30 lakh to Jitendra and currently paying a rent of Rs 1100 pm. The police are investigating the matter.

Goods stolen from truck

Some unidentified miscreants managed to flee with goods from a stationary truck in Kanadia area. One Gulam Nabi lodged a complaint that he had parked his truck near Sahara City on Bypass Road on Thursday night when unidentified miscreants cut the tarpaulin and took away some bales of clothes from the truck. The incident was discovered on Friday morning when Gulam reached the truck.

Auto-driver robbed

A woman was allegedly beaten up by her two nephews in Chandan Nagar area late on Friday night. One Sapna Mansore, a resident of Sahyog Nagar, lodged a complaint with Chandan Nagar police that her nephew Shubham and Akash along with their aide Sheikh Jafar and Shyam reached her house and started abusing her over a petty issue. Later, they beat her up and pelted stones on her when she objected their abusing. The police have registered a case against the accused and started a search for them.
