Indore (Madhya Pradesh): The BJP has expelled eight workers for anti-party activities as they did not withdraw their nomination from the urban body elections as corporator in support of the declared party candidates. Interestingly, three workers come from wards located in the Musakhedi area.
The expelled candidates are Kamal Yadav, Tulsi Prajapat, Rakesh Goyal, Kishore Mina, Jeevan Pancholi, Mehant Tiwari, Mangilal Gedwal and Mayadaw Bhatt.
Yadav is contesting elections from ward No. 51, whereas Prajapat and Goyal are in the fray from ward No. 52 and ward No. 54, respectively. All these three wards are located in the Musakhedi area.
Besides, Jeevan Pancholi (ward No. 36), Mehant Tiwari (ward No. 80), Mangilal Gedwal (ward No. 11) and Mayadaw Bhatt (ward No. 33) were expelled for not withdrawing their nominations against the party’s declared candidates from the wards mentioned.
Likewise, Kishore Mina, who is contesting from ward No. 64, was also expelled for anti-party activities. He has been expelled for the second time. He, however, stated that he had resigned before being expelled.
