Two firms surrender Rs 8.3 cr

Indore : The survey action of the Income Tax Department against two firms concluded on the second day on Tuesday late night. The firms have surrendered Rs 8.30 crore Official sources in the Income Tax department told Free Press that the survey action was started against broker firm Lakhanlal Gandhilal and its sister concern ‘Gurudev Exports’ whose chief is Hemant Jain on Monday afternoon. However, the action concluded on Tuesday late night.

According to sources, the firm has surrendered Rs 7 crore against the tax.

Meanwhile, the taxmen carried out a survey at Jain Misthann Bhandar’s (JMB) two shops – one at Moti Tabela and another at Scheme No 140, Pipliyahana. Proprietor of the firm is Anil Jain. Here also the survey concluded at Tuesday late night. The firm has surrendered Rs 1.30 crore.
