Three Booked For Stabbing Man In Indore

Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Three people, including a couple, were booked for stabbing a man here on Saturday, following a dispute over old jewellery accounts.

The incident occurred in Devki Nagar under Khajrana police station when the victim went to the house of the accused to settle the account. According to the police, one Yogesh Soni, a resident of Smruti Nagar, lodged a complaint, saying that he was in the jewellery business and on Saturday he had gone to the house of one Vijay to settle old jewellery accounts. Vijay abused him and called his friend Atiq.

Thereafter, Vijay and his wife Akanksha thrashed him and Atiq stabbed him in his hand, thigh and cheek and threatened him with dire consequences. The police have registered a case of attempted murder against the accused and launched a probe.

Youth stabbed by mentally challenged brother

A youth was stabbed by his younger mentally challenged brother outside his house in Banganga police station area on Saturday afternoon. According to the police, one Sohan Rai lodged a complaint that his younger brother Vikas, who was mentally challenged and lived separately, was roaming outside his house.

The complainant said that when he went outside to talk to him, Vikas attacked him with a sharp-edged weapon. When his neighbours intervened, he thrashed them too and vandalised an e-rickshaw parked there. The police have registered a case and are investigating.
