Indore : A speeding SUV veered off the road and rammed into a road side hotel, damaging shutter and furniture, on Friday. The accident, which occurred on Kanadia Road, caused traffic jam for a brief period.
According to sources, a Scorpio SUV was proceeding towards Bypass around 7.30 am. After passing Bengali Square and Bicholi diversion, a child suddenly came in front of the vehicle.
As the driver took evasive action, he lost control of the vehicle and rammed into a road side hotel, Punjabi Twist. Hotel’s shutter as well as furniture was damaged and a motorcycle parked inside the hotel too got damaged.
After the accident, a curious crowd gathered at the site creating traffic jam until husband of a local corporator reached the scene and restored the order.
