Indore : Atal Indore City Transport Services Limited (AiCTSL) launched two new sky busses from Indore on Saturday.
Mayor Malini Gaud flagged of the busses from AiCTSL office on Saturday morning. On the occasion, IDA Chairman Shankar Lalwani and Collector P Narahari were present.
AICTSL CEO Sandeep Soni said, “As a part of our efforts to provide excellent public services, we have started sky busses, which will travel non-stop.” The non-stop sky busses are planned to connect Indore with Hoshangabad by bringing down the commuting time to 5 hours.
Further, the second sky bus service which is connecting Indore and Pandhurna will reduce the normal travelling time to 8 hours.
Indore to Hoshangabad bus service will offer semi-sleeper comfort busses, which will be taking 3 trips in a day. The first trip is scheduled to leave at 8 am from Indore. The second trip will head out from Indore at 1 pm, and the last bus of the day will start at 8:30 pm from Indore.
The return trips from Hoshangabad will commence from 7 am, 2:30 pm and 7:15 pm. The commuter will be charged Rs 280 for one-way trip to Hoshangabad from Indore and vice-versa.
The second bus service, running from Indore to Pandhurna will take one trip everyday at 10 pm from both the cities. The one-way trip from Indore to Pandhurna will cost Rs 700 to the commuter.
“The new bus services will ease travel between the districts, which is a common reason why people opt for private conveyance,” Soni added.
