Indore : A petrol pump employee embezzled Rs 1 lakh from his employer. Police have registered a case and are investigating. According to the police, the incident occurred at Raghunath Petrol Pump located in Bhamouri area on Thursday night.
A case has been registered against one Rahul Yadav of Nanda Nagar on the complaint of petrol pump manager Manoj Singh Katara.
On Thursday night, Katara was reconciling accounts with pump salesmen and when Rahul’s turn came he excused himself.
Katara then went through accounts and sales of another salesman during which time Rahul left the pump. He had sold 1,430 litres of petrol and had Rs 92,050 with him.
When Rahul failed to show up, pump owner Garg was informed and a police complaint was filed.
