Indore : Taking a lesson form MPPMT scam, the Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) has decided to take thumb impression of candidates, who would take PhD and MPhil entrance test to be held on September 1, to check impersonation during the exam.
“From this year, we will take thumb impression of candidates taking PhD and MPhil exam to pre-empt attempt of impersonation,” said Ganesh Kawadia, chairman of PhD cell, DAVV. From this year, the DAVV had started taking thumb impression of candidates appearing in common entrance test and now the same practice it had applied on PhD and MPhil test.
The last date to submit the PhD application form is August 24.
