Nagda: One hour extended for commercial activities, shops to remain open till 7 pm

Nagda (Ujjain district, Madhya Pradesh): The crisis management committee on Monday decided to extend one hour for commercial activities at its virtual meeting. As a result, the shops will remain open till 7 pm on left-right formula.

At the meeting, Sub Divisional Magistrate Ashutosh Goswami said vaccination of citizens above 45 years of age will be done on priority basis. He said apart from stepping up vaccination drive in rural areas, special attention should be given to Gram Panchayats for vaccination. He said cleanliness drive has been launched by municipality in view rainy season.

Those present at the meeting included SDM Ashutosh Goswami, City Superintendent of Police Manoj Ratnakar, Block Medical Officer Dr Kamal Solanki, BJP mandal president CM Atul.

Meanwhile, resentment is growing among businessman as they have objected to left-right formula. Businessman Jagdish Mehta said administration should reduce two hours but all the city markets should open together. He said traders have demanded to keep all markets open till 4 pm.
