Manpur : A monkey, that had terrorised residents of Manpur for the last four days, was finally caught by a team of forest officers from Indore on Monday.

A complaint about the monkey was made to the local forest department, but no one had come forward to catch the ape. It was after the matter reached Indore, that a team of officers were sent to Manpur.

The team used special cage to lure and trap the monkey. The monkey had been on a rampage in the town for the last four days injuring scores of residents. The injured have now demanded compensation from the forest department. No victim has been paid with compensation so far by the department.
