Mhow (Indore district, Madhya Pradesh): The local administration has launched campaign to generate awareness for vaccination among residents.
After decrease in Covid cases, the administration has decided to withdraw certain restrictions from the Mhow tehsil though officers visit markets regularly to check whether norms are being followed.
SDM Abhilash Mishra on Wednesday visited shops and asked shopkeepers whether they have been vaccinated.
A vaccination centre has been set up at Dongargaon mandi. Tehsildar Dhirendra Parashar visited mandi on Wednesday and said farmers, shopkeepers who have been vaccinated will be allowed to enter mandi premises.
On Wednesday, 225 people were vaccinated at Dongargaon mandi. In Manpur, administration has conducted surveys in all the wards to check how many of people have been vaccinated. Nayab Tehsildar Vivek Soni visited three wards in Manpur. On the basis of survey, he reached houses of people and sent them to the vaccination centre.
