Inodre:Ajay Kumar Chouhan is PCC I-T of MP-CG

Indore: Ajay Kumar Chouhan, an officer of Indian Revenue Service 1984 batch, has been appointed as Principal Chief Commissioner of Income-Tax of MP-CG. His appointment was made by the Cabinet Committee on Appointment on Friday.  On Saturday, he took charge. Senior IRS officer Chouhan was so far Chief Commissioner of Income Tax of Indore Region, which he assumed on June 28, 2017. Since the Model Code of Conduct is in force, therefore no new CCI-T of Indore Region will be appointed. Thus, Chouhan would hold the charge till the next appointment is made.
