A 30-year-old woman allegedly committed suicide after consuming poisonous substance in Kanadiya area on Tuesday night. The reason behind her taking such an extreme step could not be established yet. According to the police, the deceased has been identified as Jankibai of Bicholi Mardana area who consumed poisonous substance when she was alone at home. The incident was discovered when husband Dhanprasad reached home and he spotted her vomiting.
He immediately rushed her to the hospital where she died during treatment. The police said woman died before giving statement so the reason behind her suicide could not be known. The statement of her parents and husband are being taken and the postmortem report is awaited.
