Indore: Three persons allegedly barged into a flat after breaking open the door and molested a girl in Lasudia police station jurisdiction on Saturday night. The girl cried for help after which accused fled. Police booked the accused and arrested them.
According to Lasudia police station incharge Santosh Dudhi, the incident took place in a township near Mahalaxmi Nagar. The 19-year-old girl stated in her complaint that she was alone at her flat when three persons knocked the door at 12.30 am. As they used abusive words for her, she did not open the door.
The youths repeatedly knocked and kicked the door due to which the door lock broke. Accused barged into flat and molested her. She said she cried for help after which accused fled. Later, she reached police station and lodged a complaint. Police arrested accused. Dudhi said victim knows the accused as they are residents of same township. Further investigation is on.
Woman robbed: A woman was allegedly robbed of her bag containing gold chain and documents by a bike-borne youth in Palasia on Saturday. The CCTVs are being searched by the police.
Palasia police station staff said incident took place in Manishpuri Colony at 8.30 pm. Anjali Mishra lodged a complaint that a bike-borne man came from back and snatched her bag containing gold chain, a wrist watch, Aadhaar card and other documents and fled.
