Indore: Polling parties welcomed amid beats of dhols at Nehru Stadium

Indore: It was a pleasant surprise for the members of the polling party, who returned to Nehru Stadium after completion of their duties, when they received a warm welcome on the beats of dhols and also served cold drinks. The polling party returned back to Nehru Stadium at 7.35pm. The party was from the Government Girls HS School Rajat Jayanti, Gaudi Adda in Indore- 3 assembly constituency.

As soon as soon the four members of the polling party entered into the stadium from Gymekhana gate, they were surprised by the officers of district administration and Indore Municipal Corporation led by ADM Bhavya Mittal, who is also incharge of constitution of polling parties, at the gate. The officers welcomed the polling party amid beats of dhols. They were garlanded and welcome drink was served to them.

Same treatment was given to following parties coming back to the stadium. The jubilation of the polling parties were quite high on getting such a warm welcome, which they never received before. They started dancing at the entry point with polling devices. The arrival of the polling parties continued till 10.30pm.
