Indore: Following the murder of LIC officer by a drug addict in Dwarkapuri area, the police launched a drive against the people consuming drugs illegally in the area on Saturday. Ten people who were caught during the drive were booked under prohibitory section by the police.
Dwarkapuri police station staff said teams have been formed for the drive against anti social elements. During the drive, Arpit, Sagar, Akshay, Vikram, Rajesh, Kannu and others were caught while they were smoking cannabis cigarettes. Police also detained Sharukh for having illegal weapon and was booked. Seema Nath was detained with 350 quarters of illicit alcohol. Probationary action has taken against Yagyant of Suryadev Nagar for creating a hindrance in police drive and for creating nuisance.
