Indore: While BJP announced its candidate from Indore Lok Sabha seat on Sunday, Congress candidate Pankaj Sanghvi made plans to file his nomination. He is expected to file nomination on April 26 as he consulted astrologers for propitious date and time to file nomination. City Congress committee will inaugurate election office on April 14 at Mohata Bhawan.
Meanwhile, party leaders are planning to take out rally on April 29 and have contacted chief minister Kamal Nath to join it.
“We have not decided final date for rally. We are discussing it with party leaders,” Sanghvi said. Party sources said Sanghvi will file nomination on April 26 without pomp and show. The party will take out a rally on April 29.
Sanghvi woos rural leaders
Sanghvi launched campaign in rural areas from Depalpur on Sunday where met party leaders and activists. The meeting was organised by Congress MLA Vishal Patel where Sanghvi met senior party leaders including those of Patel community to ensure his win from Depalpur assembly constituency.
