Indore: The Institute of Company Secretaries of India will hold ICSI Convocation 2019 – Western Region to award associate membership of the Institute to newly qualified company secretaries. The convocation will be held at Labh Mandapam auditorium on May 25. Over 700 company secretaries are likely to participate. This is for the first time that the convocation is being organised in the state.
About 523 associate members and 71 fellow company secretaries of western region will be given the muchawaited membership certificates. Preeti Kaushik Banerjee, director, communications, said Justice Virender Singh, of Indore bench of MP High Court, will be the chief guest.
Company secretary Ranjeet Pandey, ICSI president, will preside over the function. Company secretary Ashok Kumar Dixit, officiating secretary, ICSI and company secretary Ashish Karodia, chairman, western India Regional Council of ICSI, will be also be present.
