Indore: The graph of corona positive cases reported from the rural areas of the district is decreasing. On Thursday, only 57 positive cases were reported from the 603 villages of the district, while earlier this figure was around 80 cases per day.
In-charge of Indore district and water resources minister Tulsiram Silawat informed that the condition of corona infection is improving rapidly in rural areas of the district. The recovery rate is getting better and the positivity rate is steadily decreasing.
"Expected results are being obtained. Only 57 patients have been found positive in the district, on Thursday. This is a pleasant situation. Earlier, this number was around 80 per day. Positive results of micro containment strategy are visible," the minister said.
Silawat informed that the administration is getting better cooperation from the villagers and that has reduced the infection rate. He said credit for the improvement goes to all the sections of society and the dedication of the government staff. Thanking everyone, Silawat expressed hope that coordination between the public and administration will continue and things will keep on improving till the district becomes corona free.
Silawat takes stock of corona treatment
Earlier in the day, Silawat inspected the places where corona patients are being treated in the rural areas. Silawat went to Covid Care Centre of village Manglia. The staff informed Silawat that nutritious food, tea and clean water is being provided to the patients, twice a day. Silawat tasted the food and appeared satisfied and said there should be no reduction in the facilities being given to the patients.
Interacts with patients
Minister Silawat also interacted with the patients at the Manglia Covid Care Centre. He took their feedback about the food and treatment. He assured them that all of them would be cured and would soon so home. He asked everyone to remain positive and assist the doctors and other staff.
