Indore: Health Minister Tulsi Silawat on Wednesday announced to regularise the contractual health employees in the state.
Talking to the representatives of Contractual Health Employees Association at Government PC Sethi Hospital, Silawat assured the contractual health employees to make them regularise across the state but also asked them to wait for eight months.

“I will fulfil all your demands and also take decision to regularise you soon but I need around 8 months’ time. You have been waiting for a long time and you must give this much time to our government as well,” Silawat said.

Meanwhile, the contractual employees also demanded to implement decision of last cabinet meeting to provide salary equal to 90 per cent of the permanent employees on which Silawat told that the matter is under process. Meanwhile, representative of Contractual Health Employees Association Dr Shashikant Mourya said they didn’t support BJP for not fulfilling our long pending genuine demands.

“We will not support Congress in Lok Sabha elections if they do not fulfil at least the demand of 90 per cent pay for which the decision is already taken,” Mourya said.
