Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya (DAVV) plans to postpone the first-semester exam of both UG and PG and has sought permission from the higher education department to change the exam schedule.

The DAVV letter to the higher education department states that due to delay in counselling, the colleges could not complete the syllabus. Due to this, the exam schedule will have to be changed. After getting the approval of the department, the timetable of the PG first semester exam will come in the next few days.

The university administration had scheduled the first and third semester exams of PG traditional courses including MA, MCom, and MSc in December. The PG third semester exam starting on December 3 has been postponed by a week. It will now be held from December 10 to 25.

After that, the first-semester exam was to be held, but the colleges said that the syllabus had not been completed, therefore the university did not announce the exam date.

Earlier, the university had made preparations to conduct the exams from December 25 to January 8, but now the papers will be held from January 8. Controller of Examinations Dr Ashesh Tiwari said that the PG first semester exams are scheduled in January. The timetable will be released after December 25. Admit cards for students will also be issued.
