Indore: Department of higher education appointed four assistant registrars at Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalaya which has been running with only one assistant registrar for past five years.
Assistant registrar Anurag Dwivedi, Vaiduryamni Tiwari, Pratibha Baghel and Dheera Gupta, who were recently appointed, were sent to DAVV.
After a gap of 16 years, Madhya Pradesh Public Service Commission had conducted appointments last year. The DAVV have been demanding assistant registrars since then.
Vice chancellor Dr Narendra Dhakad during convocation held recently requested from higher education minister Jitu Patwari to send seven assistant registrar to DAVV.
