Indore: Lawyers supporting Congress are unhappy with the panel of government advocates constituted for Indore bench of Madhya Pradesh High Court. A day after the panel of 32 lawyers was announced by the government, a general depression set in among advocates who have been supporting the Congress and contesting cases for it for past many years.
They in fact got furious when saw some advocates of RSS and BJP ideology managed to find place the list of government lawyers. Lawyers believing in Congress ideology held separate meetings and decided stage a protest over the issue at Regal Square on Saturday. They also conveyed their anger through local Congress leaders to the government.
Congress backwards classes cell city president Rajesh Yadav even dashed off a letter to State president Kamal Nath, who is also chief minister, stating the Congress loyalists were ignored and BJP ideologues have been accommodated. He requested for amending the list.
