Indore: A class VII girl student committed suicide by hanging herself from the ceiling of room at her residence under Tilak Nagar police station area on Friday.
According to police, the deceased has been identified as Saloni Verma, 13, a resident of Sanvid Nagar. She was alone at home at the time of the incident. The incident was discovered in the afternoon when her mother reached home. She informed other family members about the incident and took Saloni to a hospital but it was too late. Her body was sent for autopsy. Saloni was Class VII student in a private school and was under depression over some issue. No suicide note was recovered from the spot and reason for suicide could not be established yet. The police are taking statements of her family members and are investigating the incident.
