Indore: As city prays for hat-trick, team starts crucial check from Khajrana Temple

Indore: With the Swachh Survey taking place to find out cleanest city in the country for the year 2019, a team of an agency hired by Central government on Thursday started field verification of the standard of cleanliness and sanitation situation in Indore which is having its fingers crossed and praying for a hat-hat-trick. The team started its inspection from famous Khajrana Ganesh Temple.

Keeping absolute secrecy, the team members armed with hi-tech gadgets inspected various other spots also and collected feedback from citizens on garbage management system and sanitation situation in the city. They also captured photographs of different sites from their hand-held gadgets, uploading the same on agency’s website from the spot.

The entire survey report was being prepared online. No paper was used by the team members to note down anything during the survey. The members divided themselves in separate teams and toured the city. Team members went to a public toilet in Khajrana and asked people around if they the toilet is cleaned regularly or not. They also asked if toilets in other parts of the city are also maintained properly or not.

Thereafter, they reached floral manure unit at Khajrana. They asked how manure is produced from flowers. The team members also asked how much flowers reached the unit daily from the temple. Thereafter the team left for other parts of the city. At Vishnupuri, the team went to three construction site. At one site, nearly 25 lanourers were working. The team asked do they have access to pakka tiolets or not.
