Indore (Madhya Pradesh): Another bus overturned in the Bherughat area injuring three passengers on Saturday morning. Police said that the driver lost control and the bus overturned near the road after breaking the railing . Two days ago, five passengers were killed after a passenger bus fell in the gorge in Bherughat.
According to Simrol police station staff, the incident took place near Maa Sharda Dhaba in Bherughat area on Indore-Khandwa Road at around 10.30 am. The bus overturned while taking a turn.
Three people named Meerabai, Mamtabai and Daulat Singh, residents of Karahi village in Khargone district got injured in the accident. Other passengers of the bus received minor injuries. The police are taking the statements of the injured people to know the exact circumstances of the accident. A case has been registered against the bus driver and further investigation is underway. The bus is owned by Malviya Travels and it was carrying passengers from Kasrawad to Indore. The permit and fitness of the bus are being checked by the police.
On Thursday, five people were killed and 47 people got injured after a bus travelling to Burhanpur from Indore overturned in a gorge in Bherughat area. The bus was being driven recklessly due to which the accident happened.
