Indore: People think ‘devil’ as a fig of imagination, but there are many living around us in this world. Such a fiend was exposed when a woman complained about her husband’s cruelty to police two days ago. The accused inserted handle grip of a bike in his wife’s private part as punishment for a trivial inquiry. The woman’s only fault was that she enquired about his extra-marital affair. The victim concealed her pain and lived with it for more than a year in fear as her children are minor.

The woman approached a woman cop when the pain became unbearable and her life was in danger. She narrated her ordeal and barbarity of her husband to the cop, who admitted her to MY Hospital. Later FIR was lodged against the ruthless husband at Chandan Nagar Police Station. Doctors at MY Hospital performed a major operation on the woman to remove the iron handle grip. Doctors took more than five hours on Tuesday to complete the complex surgery. According to MY Hospital doctors, 72 hours are crucial for the woman. The doctors described her condition as critical.
