indore : NSUI state president Vipin Wankhede and ex-MLA Tulsi Silawat staged a ‘chakka jam’ near Bombay Hospital at 1 pm on Wednesday. The road was blocked for an hour in the day.

There was a gathering of 100 people along with 15 activists. Wankhede and Silawat demanded public transportation from Bombay Hospital to Nepania. This matter cropped up after the shutdown of the city bus in the area.

ICTSL agreed to the demand of city bus in the area and quickly announced the launch of the city bus in the coming days. ICTSL spokesperson Maya Thakur said, “City bus will start running from Nepania to Bombay Hospital in November.”

Policemen reached the venue after an hour. They started lathi charge to move the gathering from blocking roads. Leaders and activists were arrested and taken to Lasudia police station, only to be released in an hour for a nominal bail amount.
