Indore : Burglars broke into Central School, located in the premises of RRCAT and stole seven computer monitors and other items from the lab. According to Rajendra Nagar police, the incident occurred on Wednesday night. The police registered a case on the complaint of Ashish Kumar, Lab in-charge of Central School.

According to Investigating Officer SC Paradhar, ASI, the burglars entered the lab after removing the AC unit and stole seven computer monitors, a scanner and other electronic equipment.

Interestingly enough, RRCAT is a high security zone and a theft of this kind raises several questions on the security at the institute. The police are clueless about the theft even after 24 hours. They are trying to determine how the thieves entered the premises in the first place. The police are now checking to see if any CCTV cameras were installed in the lab and obtain CCTV footage to identify the miscreants.
