Etah:A woman and her two children were strangled to death allegedly by her husband and in-laws for resisting her husband’s illicit relationship with a girl in Awadarh area, police said today.
Woman’s brother, Ravindra Singh, informed police that his brother-in-law Nilesh, a resident of Todarpur village, was having an affair with a girl in the same village.
He alleged that Nilesh used to harass his sister who was against his relationship with the other girl, police said.
Last night, Nilesh and his family members strangulated Manju (28) and her two sons Anmol (5) and two-and-a-half years old Anupam, he alleged.
Police said a case has been registered against Nilesh, Man Singh, Bhoori Devi, Silesh, Viresh, Rukampal and two unidentified persons in this connection.
Nilesh and Man Singh have been arrested and efforts are on to nab other accused, they said. P
