Republic TV Editor-in-Chief Arnab Goswami purchased a home for ₹30 crore in Noida, as per a viral post on social media. According to reports, the property purchased by Goswami is priced at ₹30,000 per square foot.
An X user named Vishal Bhargava, who is a Mumbai-based senior journalist who reports on real estate and infrastructure, in a post on Friday, claimed, "Arnab Goswami does Noida’s biggest property deal by buying a home for ₹30 crore. Priced at ₹30,000 per square foot, it’s a small amount for him but breaks the unwritten code of top media professionals shunning any display of their wealth. Healthy and commendable."
The post attracted mixed reactions from netizens. Some users expressed joy, saying he deserves it after working so hard for years, while others mocked him, suggesting he might have received the house as a gift and may not have paid for it from his own pocket.
One user wrote, "So happy to learn that after he left Mumbai, he got a prosperous house in Greater Noida instead of a flat! He deserves it after working so hard for years! May the prosperity continue for the Goswami family."
Another user commented, "I doubt he paid... they must have gifted it to him in return for promoting it for free."
The property which Arnab Goswami bought is at a posh location. As per reports from 99acres, the area is well-connected, with Delta 1 and Alpha 1 metro stations close by. Additionally, Goswami's Republic World office in Sector 158 in Noida is approximately a 20-minute drive from the property.
It further claimed that Jaypee Greens is well-known for its spacious and high-end residential projects. It provides top-tier amenities, including a clubhouse, banquet halls, a helipad, a spa, and a health club. These features make it an attractive choice for luxury homebuyers.
