New Delhi: Polaris India Pvt. Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Polaris Industries Inc. the world leader in off-road and all-terrain vehicles showcased its latest and acclaimed products – Dagor™ (Deployable Advance Ground Off-Road) and Mrzr™4 at the on-going ninth edition of the Defexpo India 2016.
These vehicles have been exclusively brought to India for the first time. Polaris India also showcased its six wheeled drive off-roader, Sportsman® Big Boss 6X6 and Ranger® 6X6 800 at the event.
The highlight of the expo has been the showcasing of Dagor™ (Deployable Advance Ground Off-Road) and MRZR™ for the first time in India. Polaris India has developed the DAGOR™ (Deployable Advance Ground Off-Road) vehicle under a contract from elements of the US Special Operations Command (SOCOM) and international Special Operations Forces (SOF) customers.
Speaking on Polaris India’s participation in the Defexpo India 2016, Managing Director Polaris India Pvt. The vehicles unique design allows ease of operation, maintenance and sustainment in support of combat operations. The vehicle uses a readily available commercial off-the-shelf (COTS) driveline, controls and components streamlining mechanic and operator training.
The MRZR™4 is highly mobile, configurable for a variety of applications, air transportable and has been combat-proven and purchased by US and allied forces throughout the world.
