Prime Minister Narendra Modi is scheduled to visit his parliamentary constituency Varanasi on August 2, where he will address a public rally in the Sewapuri region.

Ahead of the visit, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will arrive on Monday to review preparations and hold meetings with local officials.

The rally is expected to draw over 80,000 attendees, with extensive arrangements underway, including a German hangar-style pandal and a dedicated helipad.

Despite rain-related logistical issues, officials are working to ensure smooth execution. A list of development projects for inauguration and foundation laying will also be finalized.

Additionally, the BJP has launched a city-wide cleanliness campaign in Varanasi, aligning with the PM’s arrival. The effort, led by senior leaders and MLAs, is part of the party’s tradition to honor Modi’s visits with public participation and civic engagement.
