Bhubaneswar :  With more and more people hitting streets against ponzi companies in Odisha, Opposition Congress and BJP on Monday announced their plans to launch statewide agitation demanding return of money to investors.

While Congress activists would stage demonstration in all the 30 district headquarters on June 5, BJP workers and leaders are set to launch a five-day stir against such companies from today.

“Our workers will submit memoranda addressed to the Governor during their agitation in all the districts. We demand arrest of people involved in the ponzi schemes of different non-banking financial institutions,” said OPCC President Jaydev Jena.

Meanwhile, state BJP President K V Singhdeo while addressing a public meeting at Karanjia in Mayurbhanj district announced his party’s plan of a five-day agitation. The state government must ensure that the people get back their money.
