Jammu: A militant hideout was on Wednesday busted by security forces and arms and ammunition were seized in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kishtwar district, police said. Acting on a tip-off, a huge cache of arms, ammunition and explosives were seized in a joint search conducted in Shree forest area of the district, a police officer said.  One round live 7.62 mm, 943 rounds of 7.1 mm, two rounds of UBGL throwers, one RPG shell, 18 AGS grenades, five IED charge sticks, two IED switch control devices, two empty magazine of Ak-47 rifle, five IED batteries and ten IED switches were seized from the hideout, a police officer said. One empty ammunition box was destroyed on spot, the officer added.
