Thiruvananthapuram : The state election commission gave permission for re-polling in 105 polling stations in Malappuram and nine booths in Thrissur district for the local civic elections in Kerala. The polling began at 7 am on Friday as earlier decided. The decision has been taken in the wake of malfunction complaints received from these centre owning to which the local administration has stopped polling. Stating that there were no technical glitches in voting machines, the election commission called for a comprehensive probe into the issue. So far with the completion of first and second phase the polling was peaceful and the results will be counted in the 7th of November.
