Kejriwal announces Rs 1 cr for ex-serviceman’s family

Bhiwani (Har): Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Thursday announced a compensation of Rs one crore for the family of ex-serviceman Ram Kishan Grewal who had allegedly committed suicide over the issue of ‘One Rank, One Pension’ (OROP). Kejriwal made the announcement at Grewal’s village Bamla near her where he attended the army veteran’s cremation. Amid high drama, the Chief Minister had been detained by Delhi Police on Wednesday when he tried to meet the family of Grewal.
