New Delhi: As part of its ‘Operation Milap’, Delhi Police’s crime branch has reunited a 17-years-old girl lodged at a children’s home with her family members. A team of Anti Human Trafficking Unit on December 19 reached ‘Ashraya Family Home’, a children’s home at Madanpur Dabas, and examined the records of children lodged there. During examination, a girl appeared nervous and on sustained compassionate persuasion, she revealed that she
belonged to a poor family from Ludhiana in Punjab. “She used to visit fairs with her parents to sell balloons. In September, a man allegedly lured her to Delhi and they stayed in Bawana area for 10 days after which he left her.
