Gonda : A clash broke out between supporters of municipality chairman and security forces here on Saturday following which six persons were arrested. Nirmal Srivastava along with over 30 supporters reached Bharat Milap crossing when MoS Vinod Kumar was on a visit to violence-hit areas. Srivastava allegedly misbehaved with Kumar and police had to step in.
The situation got out of control and Srivastava’s men started pelting stones at security forces, police said. Six persons were arrested.
