NEW DELHI: The Supreme Court will hear on Friday a plae by Maharashtra’s NCP MLC Dhananjay Munde to stay the Bombay HC order on Tuesday to police to lodge a case against him for an alleged illegal purchase of the govt land.
A vacation judge of Justices Indira Banerjee and Ajay Rastogi on Thursday agreed to hear the case of the land bought by Munde at Pus village in Ambajogai tehsil of Beed.
The HC order had come on the petition one Rajabhau Phaad, claiming the land belonging to the govt was given to the Belkhadi Math in Beed as gift. Rajabhau wanted registration of a case against the NCP leader since the land cannot be transferred or sold without the govt nod.
