Alwar will be divided into 2 police zones: CM Ashok Gehlot

Alwar: Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot on Thursday announced that Alwar district in Rajasthan will be divided into two police zones in view of the rising crime rate here. Calling the district “quite critical”, Gehlot said that a Superintendent of Police will be appointed for each zone. Gehlot had accompanied Congress President Rahul Gandhi to Thanagazi in Alwar to meet the victim of a gang rape.
