Karisma Kapoor recently shared a behind the scene picture with late actress Sridevi from the sets of Zero. The actress shot with Sridevi for a special appearance for Shah Rukh Khan starrer along with Kajol, Rani Mukerji and Alia Bhatt. Since Zero will be the last film where we can see Sridevi performing, the post shared by Karisma has made everyone a bit teary eyed. Karishma wrote, “Thank you Shah Rukh and team ‘Zero’ for giving me the opportunity to share screen space (even if it was for a few minutes) with the legend and my all-time favourite Sridevi, we miss you. The scene which stars Sridevi has been frozen in the film just for that extra-millisecond so that fans can admire the late Bollywood legend on screen one last time. Apart from Zero, Sridevi was also supposed to star in Karan Johar’s Kalank opposite Sanjay Dutt but sadly before the shoot of the movie commenced, Sridevi succumbed to death. She was later replaced by Madhuri Dixit.
Zero which released today opened to mixed responses from the critics. While a section of movie critics praised the film, some stated that the movie needed a better execution. However the performance of Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif and Shah Rukh are applauded by the audience especially that of Katrina who plays an alcoholic in the film. The fate of the film will now depend on the box office collection in the coming weekend.
